Doing their part to help an annual outreach project, 79 Duchesne Academy seniors spent part of Tuesday making valentines for senior citizens.
In its 12th year, Community 360 helped coordinate volunteers from 200-300 area businesses, churches, schools and scout groups to make valentines that will be handed out on Feb. 14 — Valentine's Day.
Last year, more than 5,300 cards were handed out.
Community 360 offers events throughout the year, including seasonal gatherings and other special events designed to support residents and staff of nursing homes throughout the Omaha area.
