Convicted killer Nikko Jenkins could be sentenced by the end of the month.
The judges have decided to have a tentative sentencing date on May 30th in Douglas County District Court.
Jenkins is convicted of killing Andrea Kruger, Curtis Bradford, Juan Pena and Jorge Ruiz.
The murder spree started 10 days after he was released from prison.
Prosecutors argued that because more than one murder was committed, and most were done to cover up another crime, he should be put to death.
The defense argued his mental condition keeps him from being put on death row.
Jenkins had his mental competency tested at least 3 times.
The judges met last week to discuss their decision, and are expected to announce it later this month.
