Council Bluffs PD: Two people wanted for robbery

UPDATE (6/22) The Pottawattamie County Attorney’s office told Council Bluffs PD that the child has been located and is safe in the care of relatives.

Officials said the child has received appropriate medical care since the crash. The child is a 3 year old male. His name will not be released.

Council Bluffs Police are looking for two women after they stole a package off someone's porch then crashed their escape vehicle on Monday night.

According to CBPD, 52-year-old Michelle Kuhl and 27-year-old Amanda Wilson had a child with them when they made the theft on avenue E.

When the homeowner confronted them they made a break for it.

Officials said when they running a stop sign.  they were T-boned by another car, sending it rolling. The group ended up at the hospital.

Kuhl, Wilson, and the child arrived at the hospital and immediately fled prior to police arrival. There are active warrants for the arrest of Michelle Kuhl and Amanda Wilson as a result of this incident. 

CB Police officials said they are  also seeking to check the welfare of the child who was taken from the hospital prior to receiving treatment. 

The public is asked not to contact them and notify local law enforcement if they are sighted.
