OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV)--A fire at the Nebraska Furniture Mart warehouse facility Sunday morning may halt pick-ups and deliveries, officials say.
Crews were dispatched at 7:24 A.M. to the Nebraska Furniture Mart warehouse facility for a water flow alarm. After gaining access to the building, crews found a moderate amount of smoke inside the warehouse.
Omaha Fire Battalion Chief Kathy Bossman said the source of the fire was wooden pallets stored inside the warehouse.
Nebraska Furniture Mart Vice President Bob Batt told KMTV the warehouse stores flooring, carpet and tile.
The extent of damage is unknown, but Batt said deliveries and pick-ups of flooring from the warehouse may be delayed.
There were no injuries, and no one in the warehouse at the time of the fire.
Nebraska Furniture Mart retail stores are still open today, Batt said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
