Council Bluffs residents will vote on a bond for a new police building in a special election on May 3.
The city says an alternative date of Jun 7 would have left out independent-registered voters.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says they'll attend neighborhood association and community organization meetings to help answer questions about the proposal for a new police building.
A study group identified three possible locations for the new building. Details for each one can be found here.
