Elkhorn's third high school officially has a mascot.
The school board voted unanimously on calling the school the Elkhorn North Wolves at a meeting Monday night. The school's colors will be black, silver and bright blue.
The other options were the Eagles and Nighthawks.
Later this year, the district will break ground on the new high school at 180th and Maple and it is scheduled to open in August of 2020.
