“Man, they took my life. He went straight and just ripped my soul and my guts just out. I’ve had no sleep at all,” he said.
When he found out:
“I went out there. I found out. They told me when I got out there. They said that, at first, they couldn’t tell me anything. And then five, 10 minutes later, they came back and told me that my daughter was identified by her coat because we described her to them. And they said that’s how they identified her, and then they said they haven’t identified my baby mom yet. But then, like 30 minutes to an hour later, I called her brother and he told me they identified her, too. And I’ve just been up ever since because it isn’t real. I call her phone. I leave her voicemails because I was thinking she would call me back. It still hasn’t hit me yet until I see my baby.”
