A popular Florence restaurant, Mouth of the South, caught on fire a little after 7a.m. according to the Omaha Fire Department.
Omaha Fire Chief Dan Olsen said fire crews reported heavy smoke and flames on approach. Olsen said thanks to a fire wall on both sides of the building, the fire did not spread to the surrounding buildings.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
