Former Omaha real estate agent Dirk Blume, 46, was sentenced to 11-16 years in prison for manslaughter Monday afternoon.
Rather than stand trial for second-degree murder, Blume plead no contest to using a weapon to commit a felony and second-degree manslaughter.
Surveillance video showed Blume had run over 40-year-old Seth Hansen with his pickup truck after a dispute in the Speedee Mart near 138th and West Maple. Prosecutors said the dispute was because Hansen did not sell Blume chewing tobacco because he was closing the store.
