LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) - A former University of Nebraska law student says a classmate drugged, sexually assaulted and stalked her.
She's suing university officials for how they dealt with it.
The woman, listed as Jane Doe, filed a federal lawsuit against the NU Board of Regents as well as many university officials including former President Hank Bounds.
She claims in 2018 university leaders engaged in suppressing sexual assault grievances and provided preferential treatment to male offenders.
The defendants denied wrongdoing through a court filing on Friday.
