Fremont Police are investigating after a report of child enticement Tuesday evening.

In a statement Wednesday, the Fremont Police Department said an “investigation determined that two young juvenile children reported that an adult male attempted to put one of them in his vehicle.”

Investigators say it happened around 7:25 p.m. near the 2400 block of Westside Avenue.

The suspect was described as having “orange,” medium-length hair and a beard.  He was wearing a black jack or hooded sweatshirt and light blue jeans.

Police say he was driving an older, light brown 4-door vehicle.  They also released a description of the passenger as having short, dark hair with a beard and wearing a gray t-shirt.

Police ask anyone with information about this case to call Crimestoppers at 402-727-4002.
