Meteorologist Jim Flowers has been forecasting the weather for nearly 40 years. Friday will be his last day at KMTV.
Jim has worked with many meteorologist and news teams during his decades long career. Friday they got a chance to say goodbye and thank Jim for all of his hard work over the years.
"I have to say it's been an honor, I've been truly blessed to work side by side with you over the past several months and learning from the best. We wish you all the best with your future and know there will be many sunny days ahead," said KMTV Meteorologist Jennifer Zepplin.
Jim spent most of his career in Omaha.
"You always cared about those people around you, not as coworkers, but as friends. So, from one friend to another, enjoy the adventure ahead, you deserve it." said former coworker Tracy Madden.
Just this month Jim was inducted into the Omaha Press Club Hall of Fame.
