OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The race for Omaha's congressional seat officially got more crowded on Thursday.

Gladys Harrison turned in her paperwork making her a candidate. Harrison is the owner of "Big Mama's Kitchen” and says she wants to give a voice to working and middle class Americans.

Harrison will face Kara Eastman, the 2018 democratic nominee, lawyer and healthcare leader Ann Ashford and community activist Morgann Freeman in the democratic primary.

The winner of that primary will likely challenge incumbent Congressman Don Bacon. Right now, he's the only candidate in the Republican race. Bacon will hold his first town hall meeting of the year Saturday morning. It will be in the board room of the OPS TAC Building near 32nd and Cuming at 9 a.m.
