Husker legend and former Nebraska congressman Tom Osborne turns 79 years old on Tuesday.
Osborne earned three national championships while head coach for Nebraska football from 1973 to 1997. He went on to serve in Congress and eventually head up the Nebraska Athletic Department.
Osborne and his wife, Nancy, also founded the TeamMates Mentoring Program.
