OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is partnering with Diventures and Keep Omaha Beautiful for a clean up at Lake Zorinsky this weekend.
The event kicks off at noon on Saturday, and volunteers should meet at the Zorinsky Lake boat ramp. The clean up event is the second in a series of three events to take place throughout spring and summer. Throughout the day, Zoo staff will be teaching participants about the qualities of a healthy ecosystem and some easy ways they can help the environment.
The cleanup is part of the partnership between the Henry Doorly Zoo and Diventures. Registration is not required for this event.
