Hometown Heroes: Kim and Jill Wolfe

The FBI will honor two organizations and one couple this Wednesday as hometown heroes for going above and beyond in the community. The FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association chose three recipients.

Kim and Jill Wolfe founded a medical transport company and began a programming offering free medical transports over Christmas. Since they sold their company several years ago they continue to use their personal helicopter to others.

For Kim Wolfe, flying is a hobby, but its one that helps others. The couple has donated a couple thousand flights over the years for charity or to fulfill someone's wish.

"We do a lot of volunteer stuff, Make-A-Wish, Kim has does a lot with local law enforcement," Jill said. "We've done a lot of benefits for cancer or someone who's ill."

The Wolfe's also use their helicopter to help the state with environmental flights and assist in searches for missing people.
