The Huskers and Buffs haven’t faced off since 2010 so Husker fans say with Scott Frost now the head coach there is no way they won’t come out on top.

It’s a game eight years in the making. Huskers and Buffs fans say the excitement for Saturday’s game is indescribable. As Husker fans geared up for the game at fan stores in Omaha and Lincoln they prepared for Buffalo fans to invade. Buffs fans say traveling to the cornhusker state will be worth the win tomorrow. "Growing up you heard a lot about sad talking about it and it's pretty cool to be a part of that and see a good rivalry come back," said Buff’s fan, Teague Wallace.

As a precursor to Saturday’s game Mike Rozier along with Tom Osbourne Darin Erstad among others were inducted into the hall of fame this afternoon. For Osborne and Rozier the Colorado Nebraska rivalry never seemed to be a threat. “I didn't even know Colorado was a rival. When I played it was Oklahoma,” said Rozier. “It was just another game on the schedule. I didn't treat it as a big rivalry,” said Osborne.

Rivalry or not Memorial Stadium will once again be a sea of red Saturday for kick off at 2:30 p.m.
