Douglas County deputies seized a large amount of marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday night.

Deputies stopped 51 year old Robert Manning of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for speeding on eastbound I-80 near 108th Street around 8:20 p.m.. The deputy who pulled Manning over got suspicious and called for a K9.  The K9 alerted to the smell of illegal drugs inside the vehicle. A search uncovered several large duffel bags and a plastic box containing several heat sealed bags of marijuana and hashish. A total of 128 pounds of marijuana and six pounds of hash were seized.

Manning was traveling from Nevada to Pennsylvania. He's now sitting in the Douglas County Jail facing possession with intent to deliver charges.
