Convicted killer Nikko Jenkins' death penalty hearing has resumed in Douglas County court.
Wednesday morning, Jenkins waived his presence for the rest of the hearing. The proceedings were going on without him. Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine told the three judge panel how they've proven the aggravators that make Jenkins eligible for the death penalty. Kleine says the aggravators show a history of violent crimes, more than one murder was committed, and that murder was to conceal crimes. Kleine says Jenkins learned from his previous carjackings that you don't leave witnesses of a crime.
