A convicted murderer is changing his plea.
Nikko Jenkins is set to be back in Douglas County Court on Friday.
His defense counsel has filed a motion to withdraw his plea. Jenkins pleaded no contest to killing four people in a vicious spree in August of 2013.
A judge immediately found him guilty.
Just last month, a judge found Jenkins mentally competent for the death penalty phase of his case.
Currently, the death penalty in Nebraska is on-hold.
