The high temps are creating uncomfortable living conditions.
This prompted an Omaha business to start a fan drive.
The public is asked to drop fans off at KreativElement in Omaha or Joe’s Karting in Council Bluffs.

- Joe's Karting, 2121 S. 32nd St. Council Bluffs, IA 51501
They’ve also set up plans with Amazon and Home Depot.
The Salvation Army will then distribute the fans to people in need.
Officials said they will be collecting fans through July 31st.
