Joshua Keadle, the man charged with first-degree murder earlier this month in the 2010 disappearance and death of Peru State student Ty Thomas, made his first court appearance in Nemaha County on Thursday.
Keadle's defense did not ask for bond because he still has 12-14 months to serve for a rape conviction stemming from a 2012 conviction.
Keadle did not plead guilty or not guilty, his next court appearance is Nov. 9.
