Gamers have been dialed into their phones the last week playing this popular mobile game.
This new game has thousands of people searching for virtual Pokemon all across town.
Now, the La Vista Police Department wants to join the fun and they want the public to be apart of it.
The Police Department is hosting an impromptu Pokemon Go hunt on Wednesday.
It will take place at Central Park at 1:30 p.m.
LVPD officers will help catch your favorite Pokemon. Maybe a you may find Pikachu, a Pidgey, or even a Bulbasaur.
