State Senator Lydia Brasch and former State Senator Mark Christensen have filed a lawsuit to block Medicaid expansion from being on the November ballot, according to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald.
Brasch cites a negative impact on property taxes as the reason behind the suit.
Last week, supporters of Insure the Good Life submitted 133,000 signatures to get the expansion measure on the ballot, the signatures have not yet been verified but 85,000 signatures of registered voters are needed for Medicaid expansion to appear on the ballot.
