The lineup for the 2016 Loessfest in Council Bluffs on May 29 has been released.
Kool and The Gang will headline the event. They will be joined by the Atlanta Rhythm Section.
The 4th annual event drew 40,000 people last year and also features several races plus a fireworks show.
Organizers say due to construction in the area parking will have some changes this year, primarily moving to the rear area of the Harrah's Casino parking lot.
In addition, a new charity will also directly benefit from the event. Organizers say details are being worked out on a fundraiser to benefit Heartland Family Services.
