OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — After nearly 30 years, a long time FBI Special Agent is calling it a career after today.

Randall Thysse, the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Omaha Office of the FBI, will conclude his career where it began. He entered into duty as a special agent in November of 1989, following the completion of his training in Quantico, Virginia. His specialization was white-collar crime.

Thysse has worked all around the country at various FBI branches. The headquarters in Washington D.C, Salt Lake City, Memphis, and New York. He ended up back in Omaha in 2016.

"Twenty nine and a half years has flown by. I've made a lot of great friends and never had a day where I didn't want to go into work," Thysse said when reflecting on his career.
