Christian Heritage held a luncheon Sunday to promote the need for foster parents.
Approximately 3,000 children are in Nebraska’s foster care system.
The luncheon provided information on how to become involved. Couples like Ethan and Sadie Hall also shared their foster care stories, urging others to become foster parents themselves.
“We’re not here to adopt them. We’re here to help them in their time of need. When they're removed from their home, which is so traumatic for kids and just able to impact their lives in the short time that we do get to have them, that hopefully there’s seeds that we’re planting when they’re in our home that they can take with them the rest of their lives,” said Sadie Hall.
