OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - A man faces charges after Omaha Police say he was involved in a cutting incident on Thursday.

Police say they responded to the area of 15th and Locust Street just after 4 p.m. Police say they found a man who had lacerations to his face and head.

According to police, witnesses directed officers to a suspect who was taken into custody near 16th and Ohio Street. Ivan Fourhorns, 54, was faces felony assault and use of a weapon charges.

The victim, 54-year-old Gasi Zakary, was brought to Nebraska Med with non-life threatening injuries.
