One man is behind bars after police say he attacked a woman with a knife overnight.
According to Omaha PD, they responded to the call at around 11:56 p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they found victim, 51-year-old Carmella Martin and 60-year-old Clemmie Harris, the supsect.
Martin had visible injuries to her hands. She told officers that Harris cut her, pointed a rifle at her and threatened to kill her. Martin thought Harris may still be armed.
As officers began to set up a perimeter, Harris exited the house.
Officers took Harris into custody. Multiple firearms were located inside the residence.
Harris was booked for domestic violence terroristic threats, felon in possession of a gun, DV felony assault, two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and outstanding warrants.
