Man injured in shooting near 16th and Clark

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha police say they found a man with a gunshot wound in the area of 16th and Clark around 9:20 a.m. Thursday. Medics took the victim, James Taylor, 48, to Nebraska Medicine with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located a suspect in the area. Police booked Brian Cotton, 50, into the Douglas County jail on suspicion of 2nd Degree Assault, Gun used in a Felony and Gun by a Prohibited Person.
