OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The man who ran from the scene of a crash that killed a 2-year-old boy is going to prison.
A judge sentenced Davionne Collier to two years in prison. The crash also injured two young brothers.
Police say last Memorial Day Collier was speeding and ran a red light when he hit a car near Fontenelle and Curtis.
Our partners at the Omaha World-Herald say Collier apologized to the boy's mother in court.
