Many family and friends are cleaning up tornado damage at a home near Sidney this Thursday.

The National Weather Service on the scene says at least one tornado touched down in the Sidney and Farragut, Iowa, areas. Damage surveyor Brian Smith says two tornados likely tore through the area, with one of those reaching a 2 on the Enhanced Fujita scale.

Volunteers were cleaning up tree debris at the home on 355th Avenue near Highway 2. The tornado ripped off part of the house's siding and flattened a shed.

The tornado also laid down in the area.
