OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The first baby of the new year was born very early into 2019 at Methodist Women's Hospital in Elkhorn.
At 12:02 a.m., Katie and Mike Seeba of Bennington welcomed their first daughter Peyton who was seven pounds and three ounces.
Peyton was not expected until Jan. 19 but when Katie was not feeling well, she went to the hospital.
"Real quick, so it wasn't planned. I was like let's just do this," she said. "We're in there watching the ball drop in the background, so it was kind of fun."
