A Council Bluffs woman is expected in court Monday morning after police say she intentionally burned her 10 month old son's hand.
Police arrested 36 year old Rebecca Brahier for willful injury and child endangerment. She allegedly put her son's hand in a mug of coffee to prove to him that it was hot. Investigators were told the child tried to touch Brahier's hot coffee several times before she put his hand in the mug.
Police were contacted after staff at Jennie Edmundson Hospital became suspicious about the little boy's burns to his hand and forearm.
