OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — For the second consecutive year, the fireworks in downtown Omaha scheduled to take place on New Year's Eve have been rescheduled.

The high winds were the main concern. The firework show will now be on Jan. 5 beginning at 7 p.m.
The event will have a new location next year as renovations begin on the Gene Leahy Hall.
