Another road project means another closure on a heavily traveled interstate.
Starting Monday night, Nebraska Department of Roads will shut down a portion of I-480.
Drivers are already navigating around another headache near the I-80, I-480 and JFK interchange. State officials say on I-480 between Dodge and the interchange, lane and ramp closures will take place.
That's for both north and southbound directions. NDOR officials say it's necessary for pavement repairs, milling and asphalt overlay.
Just earlier this month, the I-80, 480 and JFK interchange shut down for bridge repairs.
State officials say that project will wrap-up right before the College World Series.
We're told this closure will only take place at nighttime but you may want to re-route your travels on I-480 if you travel between Dodge and the interchange around that time.
