OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Yesterday, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) arrested three men and seized over 90 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on I-80.

They say it all began after a trooper saw a vehicle failing to maintain its lane near North Platte at the 187 mile marker. The vehicle also had "an obscured license plate."

After making a stop, a K9 detected marijuana and a search was carried out. 91 pounds of "high-grade marijuana" was found concealed in bags in the cargo area.

36-year-old Erik Altamirano Gomez, of Missouri, 61-year-old Gregory McKee, also of Missouri, and 34-year-old Vicente Bustos Camacho, of Mexico, were all arrested for possession of marijuana – more than one pound, possession with intent to deliver, and no drug tax stamp. They were lodged in Lincoln County Jail.
