The Omaha Archdiocese says it will cooperate with Nebraska Attorney General's investigation into sexual abuse claims.

The Archdiocese will turn over records dating back 30 years. The state made the same request to the Lincoln and Grand Island Dioceses. The Omaha Archdiocese started using an independent audit of its handling of sexual abuse claims.

Wednesday, Archbishop George Lucas said we welcome accountability in our community. County Attorney Don Kleine urged people who have been victimized not to call the Diocese as Lucas had urged in a letter to parishioners a few weeks ago, instead contact law enforcement.
