Omaha Public Schools has learned a second grader from Standing Bear Elementary was left on the bus Tuesday.
The district ordered a check of the bus at the bus barn, where searchers found the boy. He was okay and was taken back to schools.
OPS said the bus driver did not follow protocol and walk to the back of the bus to make sure all of the kids got off.
