The 2018 Omaha Heart and Stroke Ball raised $800,000 to fund life-saving research and prevention programs. The evening was complete with dinner, dancing and a silent auction.
Abel Protiva was crowned prince of the ball. He was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. The little boy received his heart transplant at just four months old.
Our very own 3 News Now anchor Jenny Griswold hosted the event. Last year, the Heart Ball campaign raised $72 million nationwide.
