OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Wednesday, Omaha's first responders got an extra boost in the form of a thank-you lunch.
The First Responders Foundations teamed up with Nebraska Furniture Mart, Omaha Steaks and Chick-fil-A to deliver lunch to Omaha firefighters, police officers and dispatchers.
The meals were a welcomed delivery at stations across the metro.
Lunches were packed by a group of volunteers with notes of encouragement and thanks included with the meals.
