The race is on for the best zoo in America, and Omaha's very own Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium have been named a finalist.
USA Today released a pool of 20 nominees, "all hand-picked by a panel of zoo and family travel experts."
Other zoos on the list besides the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium include: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, New Orleans Audubon Zoo, the Bronx Zoo, Chicago's Brookfield Zoo, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Denver Zoo, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Fort Worth Zoo, Houston Zoo, Memphis Zoo, Phoenix Zoo, Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, Saint Louis Zoo, San Diego Zoo and Woodland Park Zoo.
You can only vote once a day until voting ends on Monday, March 27 at noon.
The top ten winning zoos will be released on Friday, March 31.
