An Omaha man has flipped an 1800’s era Victorian home near 25th and Manderson into an homage to Buffalo Bill Cody, one of the famous cowboys and showmen of the Wild West.

Dave Jeffers bought the property back in 2013 and has been working on it little by little, restoring and renovating it to its former beauty.

In addition to being a do it yourselfer, Jeffers is a fan of Buffalo Bill. He and his wife have decorated the rooms with memorabilia and antiques from places like Cody, Wyoming, a town founded by Cody.

According to the Durham Museum, Buffalo Bill Cody debuted his Wild West show in Omaha, back in 1883. It closed in Council Bluffs in 1913.
