Omaha Police arrest man accused of hit-and-run

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Weeks ago, the Omaha Police Department (OPD) responded to a hit-and-run accident near 93rd and Maple Streets where they say a white van struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk. After tracking the van to Fremont and issuing a warrant, they now say they have their man.

OPD says 70-year-old Aldean Drieling of Fremont was arrested yesterday and booked on charges related to the hit and run.

He has been lodged in Douglas County Corrections.
