Omaha Police investigate fatal shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A 19-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a shooting near 24th & Lake St early Saturday.

Omaha Police officers responded to shots fired at 12:34 a.m. near 7102 N. 24th St.

Authorities learned a red SUV was involved, eventually locating a red Chevy Suburban at 24th and Lake St with a black male shooting victim inside.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old KenVaughn Glass, was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he later died.

Police continue to investigate. Anyone with information should contact the OPD Homicide unit at 402-444-5656 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.

Anyone with tips leading to an arrest of a suspect is eligible for up to a $25,000 reward.
