OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police responded to 41st and Izard on Friday afternoon for a cutting.
According to authorities, the victim's sister threatened to kill the victim and cut her.
Officers located the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Awak Mathiang, on scene and arrested her without incident.
Both the victim and the suspect were transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Mathiang was later booked into Douglas County Corrections for Felony Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Criminal Property Damage.
