Three suspects arrested in connection to Sunday homicide

On Wednesday, the Omaha Police Department said three suspects were arrested and lodged at Douglas County Corrections in connection to the Sunday homicide of 32-year-old Charles Fisher.

OPD provided the following information on the suspects:

  • Jessie Sullivan - Thirty-four years old. Booked for 1st Degree Murder, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and Evidence Tampering
  • Donna Sullivan - Thirty years old. Booked for Accessory to 1st Degree Murder.
  • Ciera Johnson - Twenty-eight years. Booked for Accessory to 1st Degree Murder.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating an early morning homicide.

Police responded to the area of North 58th Street and Ames Avenue for a traffic crash just before 4 a.m. Upon arrival officers found a victim from the crashed car that had apparent gunshot injuries.

The victim, 32-year-old Charles Fisher, was pronounced dead on scene.

Fisher’s death was Omaha’s 35th homicide of the year. At the same time last year, 22 homicides had been reported.
