OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The Omaha Police Department is saying goodbye to a beloved K9 member.
Police say a vet found a lump near the abdomen of bomb-sniffing K9 Duk about a month ago. A biopsy found that it was cancer and unable to be treated.
K9 Duk helped keep Omaha safe for the last four years. He worked at the airport as well as at events like the College World Series, the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials and concerts.
"He will be missed," Lt. Jay Leavitt tweeted.
