OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — On Thursday, The Omaha Police Department said a 12-year-old boy was booked at the Douglas County Youth Center for allegedly stabbing a teen near 42nd and Madison Streets.

Wednesday afternoon, police say a male victim told them he was walking in the area when "four males pulled up in a green four door vehicle, approached him and began to fight with him." The victim told police he was stabbed in the chest with a small knife during the fight and returned home to call them. He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect has been booked for second-degree felony assault and use of a weapon (knife) to commit a felony.
