OPD looking for homicide suspect

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Update:

Hirsh has been connected to a second murder.


Hirsh was killed in a gun battle with law enforcement in Lawrence, Kansas.


Omaha Police identified the victim of Thursday's homicide at 7910 Blondo Street as 41-year-old John Miles.

A felony warrant has been issued for Hirsh's arrest on 1st Degree Murder.


The Omaha Police Department is looking for Nicholas Hirsh. They say he's a suspect in Thursday's homicide at 7910 Blondo Street.

Police believe Hirsh was with an unnamed woman seen below.

Police have also provided a picture of the type of vehicle they believe Hirsh and the unnamed female may be using.

Police are asking for assistance in locating the two:

"If you know where Nicholas Hirsch may be, contact the Omaha Police Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656 or anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP (7867) or at or at
Tips leading to the arrest of this homicide suspect are eligible for an enhanced reward of $5,000."

The Omaha Police Department is investigating a homicide at 7910 Blondo Street.

Police say they found a man dead inside an apartment there after responding to a shooting call.

The victim's identity has not been released to this point.

Police say they are looking for someone driving a champagne colored 1992 Mercury Grand Marqui.
